If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to work with a Pinterest manager, you’re not alone. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to outsourcing your marketing. It’s completely normal to have questions before you dive in! To make things easier, I’ve gathered some of the most frequently asked questions about Pinterest management. These answers will help you know exactly what to expect, how the process works, and whether it’s the right fit for your business.

Getting Started
How do I know if Pinterest management is right for me?
If you’re creating long-form content like blogs and want a steady stream of traffic without relying on social media, Pinterest management is a great fit. It’s especially helpful for creatives who want their content to keep working in the background long after posting.
What kinds of businesses do you serve?
I work with creative entrepreneurs who just need a little help sharing their work with the world. My clients include wedding stationers, photographers, crochet and knit designers, and other creatives who value long-term marketing strategies. If you’re a creative entrepreneur who consistently blogs, we’re probably a great fit!
Do I need to blog?
Yes! I only take on clients who have published at least 10 blog posts. This is because because blogging gives your audience something valuable to land on once they click your pins. A blog helps people get to know you, trust your expertise, and see how you can help them. It’s the space where you can answer their questions and build a genuine connection. Pinterest might be where they find you, but your blog is where they start to feel confident choosing you.
If you don’t have a blog yet, don’t worry! Did you know I also offer blogging services? If you’re interested in Pinterest management but don’t yet have a blog, reach out. We can get plenty of Pinterest-worthy blog posts up on your site so you’re ready to convert!
My Pinterest Management Process
What is your Pinterest management process like?
I could give you a brief rundown here, but I actually wrote a much longer blog post outlining all of the steps in my Pinterest management process. Check out the post to learn more!
How involved do I need to be each month?
Once onboarding is complete, I’ll handle everything: research, pin creation, optimization, scheduling, analytics, and more! You’ll simply provide new blog links or business updates, and we’ll check in during our one-hour quarterly strategy calls to review results.
How do you make sure the pins match my brand?
Before I even start pinning, I take the time to study your brand, get to know your ideal client, and research your competitors. During our onboarding process, you will fill out an in-depth questionnaire where you can share much of this information with me. I’ll create designs that look beautiful and also feel like you.
Here are some pins I created for a wedding stationer, using their fonts, brand colors, and invitations:

One important thing to note is that your brand colors may not always be the best choice for your pins. Let’s say, for example, that one of your brand colors is a bold teal. If all of the pins that are ranking for that keyword are light pink, a bold teal pin won’t be shown beside them. Therefore, I’ll always adjust pin colors to rank, while still staying true to your brand.
Results & Reporting
Why is there a six-month minimum commitment?
Growth on Pinterest requires time and consistency. It usually takes around 6 months (or longer) for the algorithm to do its thing and for you to start seeing substantial results. Because I want to make sure you’re seeing those results, I ask that you stick with me for at least 6 months. If you’re willing to be patient, Pinterest will pay off!
Can you guarantee results?
I can’t guarantee specific results because Pinterest depends on factors like your niche, your content, your audience, seasonal trends, and the algorithm. However, I can promise that I’ll use proven strategies and best practices to give your business the best chance for success.
What kind of reports do you provide?
Each month I’ll email you an analytics report showing how your account is performing, which pins are bringing the most clicks, and ideas for new content.
Pinterest Management Costs
Are there any additional costs involved with Pinterest management?
I do require that my monthly management clients purchase a scheduling tool called Tailwind. This tool lets me schedule the quantity of pins (5+ per day) needed to grow your account.
Do you do paid ads?
Nope! I focus exclusively on organic Pinterest strategies. While paid ads can definitely be effective, I believe in building a sustainable, long-term presence on Pinterest without the need for additional ad spend.
I hope this post helped answer some of your most frequently asked questions about Pinterest management! My goal is always to make Pinterest feel approachable and effective, so your content keeps working for you while you focus on other aspects of your business.
